LIGHT IN THE CITY – PROGRAMS-EVENTS FOR THE YEAR 2014
\n1. GOSPEL JAZZ NIGHT
\nMany religious Christians do not consider Gospel Jazz Music to be true gospel music being that Jazz music is regarded to be of secular backing.
\nThere will be Live Jazz Music, Food Fun and Fellowship<\/p>\n

2. WORSHIP CONCERT- We wont be shaken \/Enter His Gates
\nThis event will be a night of pure worship music, dubbed \u201cWe are not shaken\u201d or \u201cEnter His Gate\u201d,
\n3. PRAISE CONCERT- Raise the Roof \/Engage
\n4. TALKSHOW
\n5. PARENTS NIGHT OUT
\nNot so many parents know their children! They only know them by name and not by their character. Many parents have lost touch with parenthood and have left it for their kids to learn from the world by themselves.
\nGod intended us(kids) to be brought up in His ways and that would form the basis of our bringing. This event has the parent and the child in mind, we are looking at having parents and their kids attend for an afternoon of bonding, sharing, music and fellowship.
\n6. GIRLS NIGHT OUT.
\nWe know that girls just want to have fun, and this event is meant for them!\u00a0 We are looking at at having mothers, daughters, friends, besties or twinkies and we believe that everyone will love this night filled with music, laughs and real life stories that will connect women to God.\u00a0
\n This event is meant to encourage, inspire, energize, challenge, and take women deeper in their faith; we will be having female gospel musicians, women entrepreneurs, women in leadership (Government), women in business attend and share their about their lives and how God has transformed them.
\n7. THE MAN JOURNEY
\nThe man (the boy child) in the 21st generation has been neglected; fact being that the girl child has and is being all the attention, be it in media, development projects or even family. Why is the man neglected yet God created man to be the HEAD?
\nIn this event, we want to bring all men (young and old) from the ages 19 years \u2013 55 years to come together and discuss man issues. We are looking at:-
\n a) MAN and his money
\n b) MAN and his purpose
\n c) MAN and his family
\nThe event will have one speaker or a panel of speakers, all men who have journeyed the path of authentic manhood; these are men who are role models in the community.
\n8. KARAOKE NIGHT
